A Risky Rationale Behind Romney’s Choice of Ryan
I think there are many reasons Romney picked Ryan. The most obvious would be that he feels he can ride the 2010 tea party wave. An other is Romney worked with Paul Ryan’s brother at Bain capital. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/08/19/1121722/-Tobin-Ryan-Paul-s-brother-and-Mitt-Romney my personal choice is that I don’t realy believe that he chose him. I think he was told who to pick after the Palin tragedy. I would think the GOP are not wanting to go through that again. Love the show. Keep um cumin.
I would not consider myself conservative as I am socially liberal – but I want someone in the whitehouse that just wants to run the government well and be responsible fiscally. Including deep defense cuts, entitlement reform, I am not opposed to some gun control, etc. I think i am reasonable – I certainly do not hate anyone who shares different views. If Obama had stepped aside and let Hillary run I would probably vote for her.
I called it last week when I commented and said Ryan would be the choice – Ryan is not tea party. They like him but he is not a member. I personally like Ryan and thought he was a great choice. I don’t like Romney, or Obama but I like Ryan. I think Romney will win FL – and now WI, OH and possibly MI. Ryan is also very popular with blue collar workers in his own district. I don’t think Ryan is against Government assistance (I do not believe he had to use it) he wants to make sure that there is something for the next generations. I am banking on social security s there will only be so many Walmart Greeter positions.
